Craig Wright Accused of Fraud & Fleeing Police - Impacts Lawsuit for Cla...

This video examines recent allegations on Twitter by @CryptoDevil that Dr. Craig Wright committed tax rebate fraud and is a fugitive from Australian authorities. The allegations claim Wright falsely stated he owned certain bitcoin addresses as part of a tax scam. CryptoDevil points to Wright's own words about hiding from police as proof he's a fugitive. These allegations are relevant because Wright is currently being sued by COPA (Cryptocurrency Open Patent Alliance) for claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto and the inventor of Bitcoin. The trial is scheduled for January 2024. No fraud has been proven so far, but the court case will likely reveal more details. Gavin Mehl will be featured on Coingeek Live with Kurt Wueker Jr. on January 9th to discuss expert witness testimony in the case. Mehl has also petitioned to host a roundtable at the 2024 London Blockchain Convention with legal counsel from both sides. This could be an opportunity to discuss the likely settlement of the case by then. Thank those who donated BitcoinSV tips and remind you to send any further support to gavinmehl@handcash.io. The allegations are concerning but the upcoming trial and conventions will hopefully shed more light on the truth.
